Jonathan Messer is a versatile film and television professional who works across the full production lifecycle—from development through delivery. A 2024 graduate of Boston University’s Film & Television program, he has directed and produced independent and commissioned projects, supervised scripts, captured location sound, mixed and edited post‑production audio, assisted on set, and contributed to production design.
Along with his work on sets, Messer’s credits include serving as a camera and control‑room operator for the Boston Red Sox, conducting script coverage for Aggregate Films, and coordinating social media and livestreams for Audacy. Known for his strong attention to detail, clear communication, and ability to adapt quickly to changing set environments, he consistently supports creative teams in meeting tight schedules and high production standards.
He is currently available for freelance and staff opportunities in camera department, directing, producing, script supervision, and general production roles.
